One needs to be slow to form convictions, but once formed they must be defended against the heaviest odds. A masterpiece of investigative journalism and alternative scholarship, elegantly written Dirty Medicine embodies investigative reporting at its best. |
Slingshot Publications
Although Slingshot was set up with the intention of publishing activists books, beginning with Dirty Medicine, it has, recently had to restrict it’s future publications entirely to Martin Walker’s work. Although, Slingshot and Martin Walker are still happy to help and advice activists who want to tell their own stories, we can offer no commitment to helping with publication. The nature of present day publishing, with its large capital outlays together with the control exacted by the retail book outlets all make it difficult to get radical, campaigning or small quantity books sold. If you want to discuss a publication, however, then please write in to us. We are happy to use this site to develop discussions or arguments around the books cited. If you have any comments on Slingshot books, or if you want to discuss buying bulk quantities, then please contact us via this site.

This book is an important part of such a debate and should be widely read. "More"
